Your stay

Our check-in time is from 2pm. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us should you arrive earlier. You can also relax and recharge in The Pimlico Grid. Our reception is open 24 hours a day. Check-out is at 11am.

Amenities

Yes it does! Our lift goes to all floors, but as our building dates back to 1857, we have some rooms on landings where a few steps need to be used to access them. Please let us know in advance if you have any mobility requirements.

Yes it does! All our hotel rooms are fully air-conditioned.

Yes our guests can access our high-speed, complimentary wi-fi throughout the hotel.

In the UK our power plugs and sockets are type G (three pin), so most non-domestic travellers will need an adaptor. The maximum voltage is 240V which is higher than some countries, including the US. If your appliances run on a lower voltage, you will need a converter to avoid the risk of causing damage to your equipment and hotel room.

Transport

We are a 5-10 minute walk from Victoria Station, the nearest Underground Station. Gatwick Express trains also start/end here. Take a look at our Getting to Us page for more detailed information.

Yes, we can arrange this for you. Get in touch to let us know where you will be travelling to/from, flight information (if applicable), and number of passengers and bags. We will get back to you with a quote and book this for you. 

Tours

Yes! We work with a wide range of tour providers and can book tours for you, including Hop on Hop off tours, tickets to sights in London and day trips to places such as Stonehenge, Bath, Windsor, Oxford, Harry Potter Studios and many other destinations.

Payment

We accept Pound Sterling. We do not accept payment in other currencies. Payment can be made in cash or by debit or credit card (Mastercard, Visa & American Express).

Eating

Yes we do! Our in-house brasserie and bar, The Pimlico Grid  is where our award-winning Breakfast is served daily, one of the best breakfasts in Victoria, London! Not allowed

No, pets are not permitted at The Windermere.

Children aged 5 and above are welcome to stay with us at The Windermere.

No, The Windermere is a strictly no-smoking zone. Smoking is not allowed in our rooms and public spaces. Guests who smoke inside their rooms will be subject to a fine. Guests are kindly invited to smoke outside the hotel.

Booking

Payment for non-refundable reservations is taken at the time of booking and cannot be cancelled or modified once booked. Guests are advised to take out travel insurance in the event of cancellation.

Parking

We do not have our own car park on site but there are options nearby. A public, secure and 24 hour underground car park (Q-Park) is located adjacent to The Windermere, on Winchester Street. Bookings are not normally required. The car park is well lit and street lighting illuminates the entrance and exit. Limited parking is also available on the streets around The Windermere, however this is paid and subject to maximum time restrictions during the week.

Services

We do not have an in-house laundry service but offer an external dry cleaning service. Please note this may take more than one day and timings may be longer over weekend. Should you prefer to do laundry yourself, The Pimlico Laundrette is located nearby where you can self-service or pay for the serviced option.
